The original Burleigh Farmhouse. C15 timber-framed building with plaster and
painted brick infilling. Three bay hall with C17 wing. The first floor of
the end window bays originally oversailed on the protruding ends of the floor
joists and brackets, but the north-west one has been cut away. The eaves between
overhang on a curved brace and bracket. Hipped tiled roof. Two casement windows.
Original door arch. The frame of the original hall window is intact. Crown
post roof.
