14/10 Sundial south of main doorway,
Browsholme Hall

Sundial, C17th. Sandstone with brass plate. Octagonal on plan, square where
socketed into square base. Octagonal top cyma moulded. Shaft of 2 pieces of
stone, each with decorative bosses on 4 sides towards its top. The lower part
of the upper stone is inscribed and appears to read as follows:
