Stable block to Burgh Hall (recently demolished), early C19.
Brick in Flemish band, stone dressings, slate roof. Rectangular
plan, 3 bays. Two storeys; stone plinth, rusticated quoins to
front corners; centre bay, which breaks forward slightly, has
pedimented gable, round-headed wagon arch with rusticated voussoirs
(now obscured by modern sliding doors), above this a round-headed
window with stone imposts, and a bullseye in the gable; to each side
is a tall window on each floor, all with keystones in the lintel
and all now blocked. Various openings in sides and rear of no
interest.
