Stable block, probably earlier C18. Coursed sandstone with some stone
dressings, hipped roof of stone slates. Rectangular plan. Two storeys;
plinth, string course to left and centre; centre bay is gabled with
kneelers, a clockface in the gable and a restored bellcote (with
weathervane) on the ridge. To the right are paired segmental-arched
wagon doorways with keystones; a doorway with stone jambs and lintel on
the left of the centre bay, another at the right end; a window with
chamfered case at ground floor of centre bay, another in the second bay;
1st floor has 3 square window openings and 2 doors. Attached to front of
1st bay is a single storey brick wagon house with paired segmental wagon
doors and hipped roof.
