Large house, 1807-8, now altered as convent nursing home. Ashlar (low
roof concealed by parapet). U-shaped plan with receding service wings.
Two storeys in severely restrained late Georgian style with string
course, moulded cornice and parapet; front is 9 windows long in 3 bays,
the centre bay breaking forward and emphasised by a raised parapet with
3 square panels, ground floor now altered and concealed by modern flat-
roofed pavilion; right return wall has in centre a flat roofed porch of
slim Corinthian columns with a cornice (sides now glazed), 2 windows at
ground floor and 3 above; lower 4 bay service wings continue to rear of
both side walls. Rear altered. (Interior not seen).
