Inn. Probably late C18; altered. Scored stucco on brick, painted white, with
quoins painted black, low-pitched hipped slate roof. Square 3-bay plan.
Three storeys; symmetrical; central door with 6 fielded panels, traceried
semi-circular fanlight, open pedimented surround of 2 engaged Tuscan columns
with fluted entablatures, moulded open pediment; 12-pane sashes at ground and
1st floors, 6-pane sashes at 2nd floor; moulded eaves cornice; gable wall
chimneys. Rear altered. Interior altered. Two storey modernised wing to
left not included in the item.
