SK 81 SE COTTESMORE ROAD (North side)

House of earlier C18 and C19. Coursed squared stone with stone dressings
and red brick to rear, and Collyweston slate roof. Plinth, shouldered
stone coped gables with kneelers, and 2 central ridge, end and rear moulded
ashlar stacks, twin flues linked. 2 storeys of 6 windows, mainly wooden
mullion and transoms, with stone sills. Porch to centre right with iron
lattice to corners and cornice to flat roof. 5 panel door, the top panels
glazed. Blocked section of possible original stone framed window abuts
to right. 2 light window over. Either side of porch a 2 storey hipped
roof canted bay of 4/4 and 8/8 sash windows, 3 windows to left both floors:
2-light except for central ground floor 4-light. Further span to rear
right with similar windows and 2 storey canted bay on right end with
4/4 and 6/6 sash windows.
