Earlier C19. Red brick. Slate roof hipped at southern end. Street, or southern facade has two storeys. Two windows, barred sashes. Blocked eastern door. Eastern elevation, five windows including blank on each floor. Sashes and casements with glazing bars. Adjoins No 41A at rear.

Included for group value here on one of town's main streets and for prominence of eastern elevation in approach to town.
