Large house, formerly vicarage, c1820. Coursed stone with paler
ashlar dressings, including a deep string course, a parapetted eaves
cornice, and angle quoins. 2 storey, with 3 dormers to attics.
7 bays, 2-3-2, the central 3 projecting and the door immediately left
of them 6-panelled with overlight and slightly cambered head. Windows
are 12 light sashes with plain architraves. Unusual roof structure
with main ridge and 2 projecting gables, one at each side, over outer
2 bays, and hipped central gable, all recessed behind parapet. An axial,
and 2 gable stacks of moulded and chamfered stone.
