Former college of education with museum to ground floor. 1960-62. Trevor Dannatt. Brown brick with board-marked reinforced concrete. Flat roofs. Two and three storeys. L-plan two storey range to west with museum to ground floor. The museum has board-marked concrete barrel vaults running lengthways along the ceiling and the external walkway ceiling, resting on expressed beams. Ground floor with deeply recessed floor to ceiling glazing. Upper floor with horizontal strip windows. North wing raised on pilotis with horizontal strip windows. Timber window frames.
