Cottage. Late C16/C17. Cruck framed coursed squared stone, rubble stone and
red brick, with fragment of timber framing. Plain tile roof with brick cross
wing end stacks. Cross wing on right. 1½ and 2½ storeys. 1½ storey range to
left has carriage archway to left, 2-light casement, and 6-panelled door in C20
flat-roofed rubble stone porch. Cross wing on right has 2 1-lights on ground
floor, 2-light over and 1-light in attic. Further casements on right end and
part of a panel of large frame timber framing. Inside are a pair of cruck blades
(one cut towards base), a timber framed cross wall and chamfered beams.
