GV II

House. Early C18 with early C19 wing. Rendered brick and Welsh slate twin span
roof with brick end stacks, the double and triple flues placed diagonally. Main
range has band, and wing to left polygonal buttress-like projections at the angles
and brick coped gable facing. Main range of 2 storeys of 3 wooden mullion and
transom windows : 3-light, 2-light, 3-light, over a similar 3-light either side
restored central pedimented doorcase and 6-panelled door. On wing facing gable
a similar 2-light with 6/6 sash over. On left end a central flat-topped porch
supported by Roman Doric columns and early C19 French windows, the wooden bottom
panels with blank Gothic arches. On right end a 1 storey lean-to and, set back,
a further 2 storey wing, gable facing, with similar wooden mullion windows.
Some reset C17 panelling. Formerly the Rectory.
