House, now two dwellings Facade late C18 or early C19, the rear range earlier.
Facade (Cobblers Cottage and No. 8) is brick with Welsh slate roof. Coursed
ironstone rubble to rear (No. 6). Main elevation has central three storeyed
block with flanking single storey pavilion. Central block has two 12-light
sash windows to each floor, and 6-lights to attic with flat arched gauged brick
heads, and moulded architraves. Pavilions contain 6 panelled doors and outer
bow windows. Rear range, No. 6, is ironstone rubble with brick at first floor
level and concrete tiled roof. Doorway and window alongside under single lintel.
3-light casement above. Modern extension obscures right hand part. Baffle
entry plan with one axial stack.
