Farmhouse. Late C17. Coursed ironstone rubble, corrugated iron roof, brick end
stacks. L-plan on sloping corner site. One storey and attic; 3-window range.
Main front to Cox's Lane has small square window with stone sill, jambs and
lintel flanked by 3-light casement windows with timber lintels, that to left
stop-chamfered. Above small square window a 2-light half-dormer window. Left
gable end has plank door with hood-mould to left and one 12-pane sash window to
first floor. Slightly lower wing to left of door has one 2-light C20 casement
window to left of door and a 3-light casement window with timber lintel to first
floor. Stone coped gables with kneelers. Attached barn to left of door with
datestone inscribed WE 1692 on left gable end. Interior has stop-chamfered spine
beams.
