Lodge. Dated 1904. Timber-frame on stone base, stone slate
roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Ground floor cornice. 2 gabled
projecting bays with jettied 1st floor. Ground floor window
are boarded (1985), 1st floor 4-light windows. Right hand
bay has Tudor-headed entrances, to each floor of left
return; doors have vertical strips and strap hinges. Signs
of balcony, floor and balustrade missing. Stone stack to
roof slope. Returns have 2-storey canted bay windows,
pargetted gables; 1st floor windows flanked by half-canted
oriels; windows are transomed, some leaded upper lights.
Rear has one-storey projection, plaster with stone quoins
and ramped parapet, porches to returns. Inscription to
ground floor window heads recording presentation of building
to Lower Bebington U.D.C. by W.H. Lever.
