C1830-40 pair of semi-detached stucco faced villas. Two storeys with 3 bay
symmetrical fronts. Plinth and first floor sill band; quoin pilasters. Gable
end slate roof with overhanging eaves; brick chimney stacks with ornamental
pots. Windows in architrave surrounds, blind to centre of first floor, with
cornices on ground floor. Glazing bar sashes intact to No 27. Each villa
has central doorway with engaged Roman Doric columns supporting entablature
with moulded cornice and deep blocking course; entrance in arched recess,
door of 4 flush panels to No 27 moulded panels to No 28 lunette fanlight
with marginal glazing. Flank and rear elevations are of red brick.
