House. Mid C18, with alterations and additions of 1902. Coursed squared
ironstone, plain tile roof, stone end stacks. 2-unit central staircase plan. 2
storeys and attic. 2-window range. Street front has central horizontal oval
keyed oculi to ground and first floors with 20-pane sash window to ground floor
left, a similar small window to first floor right, a wide C20 bay window to
ground floor right and 2-light flat-faced mullion window to first floor left
with moulded sill and surround. Gabled dormers of 1902 interrupting eaves either
side with 2-light casement windows in similar stone surrounds. Chamfered quoins,
first floor string course. Stone coped gables with kneelers. Entrance to rear in
C20 single-storey extension. Interior has original entrance door with stone
lintel and moulded stone surround, stop-chamfered spine beams and open fireplace
with bar-stop-chamfered bressumer. Dog-leg staircase with turned balusters.
