TF 81 SE SPORLE WITH PALGRAVE

5/41 Wolferton House

Farmhouse. Late C18. Brick with pantile roofs. T plan, the service
extension to rear forming stem of T. 3-storey main block flanked by a pair
of single storey pavilions each with 2 2-light semicircular headed casement
windows. 3-bay main block with a pair of Venetian windows to ground floor.
Part glazed panelled front door with a pedimented doorcase on pilasters.
Late C19 sash windows to first floor with single vertical glazing bars beneath
skewback arches. Small sash windows to top floor beneath skewback arches.
Shaped modillion cornices, hipped roofs and a pair of stacks to rear wall.
Stacks to rear wall of side pavilions. Service wing with some surviving
mullion and transom 2 and 3-light windows to first floor and an axial stack.
