Norwich Lodges including gates,railings and flanking walls

Pair of identical lodges to Sennowe Hall interconnected by railings and gate piers with overthrow. Circa 1910 by G.J.Skipper.
Brick with ashlar dressings and slate and copper roofs. Each lodge is square in plan with a tower rising from drive-side angle in line with gate piers. Single storeyed wings attached to other sides. Main blocks of 2 storeys with single segmental 5-light bay windows to ground floor level of main facades. Drive-side facades with 3-bay porticos serving as pedestrian entrances; consisting of semicircular arches on channelled ashlar piers. Plain platband. 2-light upper windows with stone reveals and mullions. Wooden bracketted cornices and pyramidal roofs with central stacks. Towers with modillion cornices and copper cupola roofs surmounted by small wooden lanterns with weathervanes.
Ornate iron railings and gates. Main gates supported by a pair of square-sectioned stone piers with lion's head carvings, modillion cornices and heraldic beasts on gadrooned mounts. Ornate overthrow with spiral and leaf motifs.
Lodges flanked by low curved brick walls.
