SO 23 SE LLANVEYNOE CP -

2/42 Upper Olchon

Farmhouse. Cl7 with C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble with part stone
slate, part Welsh slate and part C20 tiled roof. Rectangular plan aligned
north-east/south-west facing south-east with later minor additions to rear,
the north-east section appears a slightly later addition enclosing a former
gable-end stack, further axial stack backing onto through-passage. Single
storey and attic. South-east front: one dormer with 3-light casement window
and two half-dormers with 2-light and 3-light casement windows, small 4-pane
window below eaves to right; ground floor, two 3-light windows to left and
one 3-light window to right with wooden frame, plain mullions and hood mould,
further 8-pane window to right, lean-to stone porch with part-glazed ledged
door. Interior retains plank-and-muntin panelled screen with segmental headed
doorway, further similar doorway in main room, stone winder staircase.
