Dated 1669, restored. Oak wooden directionpost with cast - or wrought iron-finger-
signs. Inscribed:

North: "The Way to Warwick"
"xv miles 1669".

South: "The Way to Gloster"
"xxiii miles NI".

East: "The Way to Oxford"
"xxiii miles 1669".

West: "The Way to Woster
"xvi miles NI".

The directions are right but the distances are all wrong. Also called Izod's Post.
