GV II

Farmhouse. Late C18/early C!9 incorporating older work (pyramid
stopped beam in kitchen at NW). Yellow brick with old red tiled
roof. Double-pile plan with parallel pitched roofs and brick
gable parapets at each end. 2-storeys and 3-windows wide facing
S. Centre slightly advanced with a front gable. Recessed sash
windows with 8/8 panes. Flat gauged arches on 1st floor.
Segmental below. 6-panel moulded door with fanlight and top
panels glazed. Blind window on right but 2 small 2-light
casement windows to this room on gable end with cast iron flush
casements. 2 chimneys on mid wall. Rear elevation similar to
front.
