Mid-late C19 stock brick building partly of 1, partly of 2 storeys. Main west
front of 4 bays each gabled and each in a different plane. Quoins and window dressings
of lighter brick; gable copings and window mullions of stone. High pitched slated
roofs with ornamental ridge tiles. Mullioned and transomed windows, that in 3rd
bay with tracery. Some flat window heads with Tudor relieving arches; others have
Tudor arched heads. Pointed arches to doors in projecting south and east porches.
Included for group value.

St Ann's Church School and Nos 1 to 5 (odd) form a group with Church of St Ann
and its walls, ST ANN's ROAD.
