Clubroom to Ealing Village. 1934 by R Toms and Partners for the Bell Property
Company. Painted brick with hipped roof of green pantiles. One storey; 7 x 6 bays.
Metal Crittal windows with glazing bars. Entrance elevation of 2, 3, 2 bays, the
centre having square-columned, hipped-roofed portico protecting central vertically-
panelled door with sidelights and flanking windows. Deep, stepped, boxed eaves.
2 metal flues with conical cowls. Rear: 3 full-width brick-on-edge steps up to
square-columned verandah. Centre recessed and having wide entrance with 6-leaf
glass door with glazing bars; flanking windows and doors. Interior: narrow boarded
floor. Folding glazed screen to right-hand hall, originally common room and ladies
room. Billiard hall on left. Central feature of the Ealing Village development.
