of Forest Farmhouse

Barn. Mid-C18 with late C19 and late C20 alterations. Brick with dentilled
eaves cornice and half-hipped, plain tiled roof. Eight bays aligned north-
east/south-west, with wagon bays in second and sixth bays with cart entries,
now partly blocked. South-east elevation facing farmhouse has ventilation
slits, some inserted C19 casement windows and an outshut at the left end.
Interior: roof has two tiers of purlins and a combination of collar and tie-
beam trusses with struts, king-post trusses and brick partitions. This large
barn dominates the farmstead.
