The Poplars

II

House c.1830-40 with C17 to C18 rear range. Blue lias stone. Front rang 2-storey
with slate low pitch roof and end wall stacks. Three window range of glazing bar
sashes with stone lintels. Porch to North side. Barn attached at South end, steep
pitched tile roof, previously thatch. Cider mill inside. Rear range with plain tile
roof and East end stack: plank door and triple casement to South side, iron triple
casement and casement pair to North side. To rear of barn is low brick range and
small stone barn.
