Walled garden and adjoining gardener's house, now office. Mid-C18 with
mid-C20 alterations. Red brick walls about 10 feet high enclose a roughly
rectangular area of approximately 900 square yards; the south wall is
straight but elsewhere the wall is curved. The wall to the east of the
garden has a wide shaped false gable which screens the gardener's house
behind. Gardener's house: brick on sandstone rubble base, partly hipped
plain tiled roof. Garden elevation beneath shaped gable: central glazed
C20 door flanked by round-arched lights; lunette above doorway at gable
base. A C20 glazed lean-to addition is built against the left and central
part of the ground floor. Main entrance in south side.
