adjoining outbuilding

Vicarage and adjoining outbuilding. C18, largely altered during mid- to
late C19 with adjoining C17 or C18 outbuilding. Timber-framed outbuilding
with painted brick infill, sandstone rubble plinth with stone slate roof,
rendered brick to C18 section of house, sandstone rubble with brick dressings
to later addition, tiled roofs. Irregular plan, generally aligned east/west
with entrance to north front, end stacks and central entrance. Two storeys,
cellar and attics. North entrance front: rendered C18 section to left with
modillion eaves cornice; two gabled dormers with 2-light leaded casements
to attic, three narrow 12-pane glazing bar sash windows, door to right with
gabled C19 porch and 6-panelled door with inserted glazing to upper two
panels. C19 alterations to right, coved eaves to half-hipped bay with two
pairs of sash windows, small 4-pane sash to right. Four narrow 8-pane sash
windows to ground floor. Square panelled timber-framed outbuilding adjoins
to right. Interior retains a number of late C19 fireplaces.
