10/44 Bridge House

GV II

House. C17, extended during early C19, further C20 alterations and additions.
Square panelled timber-framing with painted brick infill, roughcase render to
C19 addition, Welsh slate roofs. Three bays aligned north/south with cross-
wing to south cut back to west with addition of later wing which runs
parallel to earlier wing, axial and end stacks. Two storeys, west entrance
front in C19 addition; dentilled eaves cornice, two 3-light casement windows
with cambered heads, central part-glazed door with pedimented surround.
Interior reveals cross-beamed ceiling to-earlier wing and large open fireplace
with chamfered surround.
