Farmhouse. C17, with early C19 and late C20 alterations. Timber-frame
with painted brick and rendered infill, partially rebuilt in painted brick,
all under a tile roof. L-plan, limbs extending to north and east, with
two lateral stacks on west wall of north wing. West front of two storeys
with five windows, all 2-light casements except that to left of three lights.
Ground floor similar with central entrance. This has a C17 timber-framed
porch with dentilled tie-beam, on scroll brackets, the truss having two
curved and nibbed struts. The bargeboards are C17 with dentilling and the
finial has a carved pendant. (RCHM, 3, p 174, no 7).
