Stable court. Early C19, by William Atkinson, with some mid-C20 altera-
tions. Coursed rubble with hipped stone tile roofs. U-plan. The main
blocking facing into courtyard is of two storeys with a central three-
storey tower, which has a plain parapet and a circular recess for clock
flanked by two lancets. The first floor has two plus one plus two windows,
9-pane sashes save the central one which is of 16 panes. Ground floor has
five coach houses each with segmentally headed double doors. The left-hand
range contains accommodation, the right-hand range workshops.
