4/73 Thatched Cottage

GV II
House. Probably C17 with later alterations and extensions. Timber-frame
with plaster infill. Thatched roof and large end external sandstone stack
and brick shaft. Rectangular three-bay plan aligned east-north-east/west-
south-west. One storey and attic. South elevation has dormer eyebrow with
2-light late C20 casement to left of centre. Contemporary 2- and 3-light
casements to ground floor. Rendered late C20 lean-to on right-hand side,
and porch to left of centre. Rear has late C20 single-storey flat-roofed
extension. Interior not inspected.
