Pair of cottages. Probably late C17 with later alterations. Sandstone rubble.
Timber-framed upper floor with plaster infill. Tiled roofs. Extruded sandstone
rubble end stack with brick shaft. Rectangular plan aligned north-north-east/south-
south-west with smaller parallel range to west. Two storeys. East elevation has
three windows, late C19 to early C20 casements of unequal size to right-hand side.
Ground floor has 2-light mid-C20 steel casement to left and late C19 casement of
three lights to right. Two entries, one to left and one to right-hand side.
Weatherboarded lean-to to left-hand gable. Frame of first floor has three square
panels to wall-plate. Interior not inspected.
