east-north-east of

Cottage. Probably late C17 to early C18 with later alterations. Sandstone
rubble plinth, timber-frame with plaster infill. Tiled roof with external
sandstone west end stack incorporating bread-oven above which is brick shaft.
Brick end stack to other end. Rectangular three-bay plan aligned roughly
east/west. One storey and attic. North elevation to road has two ground
floor windows, one 3-light early C20 casement to the left and a contemporary
2-light casement to the right. Slightly to right of centre is a ledged door.
South elevation has three late C20 gabled dormers and scattered C20 casements.
Interior: inaccessible at the time of resurvey (April 1986) but noted as having
heavy ceiling beams and framed cross-walls.
