House, originally divided into two houses. C17, altered mid-C20. Timber-
framed with rendered infill on painted brick base with plain tiled roof and
central brick ridge stack. Four framed bays aligned north/south with large
central chimney. Single storey and attic with half-dormers. Framing: three
panels from sill to wall-plate, long straight braces in some lower corners,
tie-beam truss with lattice struts at north end, collar and tie-beam truss
with three struts below collar and V-strut above at south end. East front
elevation: there are two 3-light casements and two 2-light casements on the
ground floor, two eyebrow half-dormers each having a pair of 2-light casements
and a pair of glazed C20 doors with a semi-circular head to right of centre.
Attic lights at gable ends. C20 flat-roofed extension along full length of
rear west elevation with glazed C20 door at its north end forming the present
main entrance. Interior: there is a large and a small fireplace situated
side by side at the centre of the house.
