Former coaching inn and quadrant wall to east; late C18 or early C19, altered. Red brick with slate hipped front range and tiled hipped rear parallel range. Two rooms deep with one end stack to left and one rear stack, central entrance and stair well.

Three storeys, four windows with glazing bar sashes in cambered heads; outer wide two storey three window bows with sill strings; central porticoed doorway of Doric order, later door; recessed panel above entrance obscured by C20 Inn sign.

Interior altered, early C19 framed staircase with turned balusters remains intact. Formerly venue for local session hearings; "Hundred" signifying subdivision of the county and having its own court.
