SO 75 NE BROADWAS CP BROAD GREEN

3/12 Inglenook Cottage

Cottage. C17 with C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed with rendered
brick infill, some brick replacement walling and refacing, tiled roof, large
external brick chimney with tiled offsets to front elevation. 2 framed bays,
doorways in gable ends. Single storey and attic with dormers at rear. Large
square panels, 2 from sill to wall-plate; front elevation has long straight
braces in lower end panels; queen strut truss exposed in east gable end. Front
elevation has one ground floor casement, 2 skylights and large external brick
stack. Interior Roof of single trenched purlin type. C20 two storey addition
at west gable end has resulted in the part removal of the west wall-frame.
