Late C16 timber framed house clad in brick in C18. Entrance front shows high
pitched tiled roof sweeping down to ground floor eaves, one window and door
down 3 steps as house is built on hill slope. 2-storey 2-window right link
of mid-late C19 to early C19 oast house, of random rubble below and red brick
above. Rear elevation of 2 storeys, one window on 1st floor, 2 windows and door
ground floor. Inside much exposed timber. Inglenook fireplace and old floor
quarries downstairs. Through-purlin roof with curved structs from tie beam;
and wind braces. Oasthouse altered to rooms. Some C18 iron casement windows.
