Estate building. Late C19. Dressed snecked stone with ashlar dressings and
hipped pavilion slate roof. 2 storeys to south, one to north due to slope of
ground, 6 bays. Quoins and top roll moulding. South facade has 1st and 5th
bays projecting; the bays between have lean-to open-fronted projection. 6th bay
projects further. 1st and 5th bays have flat bands over ground floor. Windows
have plain surrounds and flat mullions; 4-pane sashes. Ground floor has
2:2:2:4:3-light windows. lst floor has round windows to 1st and 5th bays and
2-light windows to other bays, but 3rd bay has single light. Hipped dormer
windows to 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th bays, 6th bay has slate hung gablet with
light. Entrance to 3rd bay. 2 cross-axial stacks with plain caps. Right
return has lean-to outshut. North facade has lst/2nd bays and 6th bay breaking
forward, the 1st bay obscured by later shed. 2nd bay has large entrance-with
paired doors. 2-light windows. Hipped dormers to 2nd and 6th bays; half-hipped
dormer to 1st bay. Entrances with overlights to 4th and 6th bays.
