House, mid C18. Front is slate-hung with eaves band. Graduated slate roof of
45° pitch. Symmetrical; 2 storeys, 5 bays. Central panelled door up stone
steps; 2 sashes to either side and 5 above. Moulded cast iron gutter carried on
dentils; decorative rainwater head. Stone end chimneys. Provisional list of
December 1951 describes interior features: Original oak staircase, semicircular
arch with dentil cornice and pilasters in entrance hall, original panelled
doors. In sitting-room to left of entrance, and flanking fireplace are a pair
of fitted C18 panelled cupboards with pilasters and semicircular heads with key
blocks. Interior not accessible at time of resurvey (May 1985).
