WETHERAL BROADWATH

House. Early C19. Dressed red sandstone, green slate roof, brick chimney
stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays, double span. Stone entrance porch has squared
pilasters, plain entablature and moulded cornice with ornamented console
brackets: 6-panel door flanked by side lights and glazed fanlight. Sash
windows with glazing bars have plain surrounds. Raised quoins, moulded cornice
carried round to give double pedimented gable, stone-coped. Listing does not
include recessed extension to right, now a separate property.
