Cottage. 1912, possibly by Romaine-Walker. C17 Vernacular
style. Coursed rubblestone with sandstone dressings and quoins.
Stone slate roof, coped gables with moulded kneelers and massive
diamond plan ridge and lateral stacks. Two storeys. North
elevation of two bays. Gabled bay to right has a 3-light
recessed and chamfered mullion window to each floor with
returned hoodmoulds and squared leaded lights. Bay set back to
left with the roof sweeping down to single storey level with a
coped parapet. Four-centred arched doorway with bracketed stone
hood. The east gable end has a single storey lean-to and
similar single and 2-light windows. The design is identical to
No 3 Teapot Row.
