II
Ice house. Mid C18. Situated at the south west corner of the
Canal Pond. Sunk into the ground with, to west, a drystone
retaining wall of roughly coursed squared sandstone. Doorway
with stone lintel, now blocked. Large circular mound behind of
the circular domed structure. Interior not inspected. The
Gardens and Park are included on the Gardens Register at
Grade I.
