A wjhite stone figure set on rough hewn plinth. Composition includes a miner's
Davy lamp, pick and leaves. Inscription "Erected by the Derbyshire Miners Association
in memory of William Edward Harvey MP one of the founders of the association and
an official from 1883 to 1914".
