Late C18 remodelling of a C16 house. Coursed rubble with Cotswold stone roof. Two
storeys, 3 windows, sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has modern tripartite
sashes flanking a doorway with sidelights and fanlight. The upper floor windows have
stone architraves. Steeply pitched roof with 3 ashlar ridge stacks.
Woolcomber Cottage is an early C19 2-storey, 2 window extension to left with low
pitched slate roof and a modern shop window to left.
Interior entrance has a black and white flagged floor and a plain circa 1830s stair.
Good cross-beam with heavily moulded beams and joists, extends beyond partition
towards rear, large Tudor arch fireplace. West end has Tudor arch fireplaces on
first and ground floor.
