Former inn now house. Early C17, late C18 and mid C19. Coursed
squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roof stone stacks. 'L'-
shaped core with C19 extension in angle. C20 extensions at gable
ends and C20 lean-to porch, not of special interest. Main body; 2
storeys and attic lit by C20 raking dormer at rear. Two and 3-
light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with glazing bars
in east and south facing walls. Single light (formerly lighting
spiral staircase) in left-hand wall. Relieving arch over 3-light
window left of single light. Front elevation lit by C20 single and
3-light casements with glazing bars. Late C18 - mid C19 two storey
canted bay in finely dressed stone to gable end facing road lit by
C20 sixteen-pane casements. Axial and projecting gable-end stacks.
Interior: beam with moulded soffit in room with canted bay.
