Gates, gate piers and railings at end of lime tree avenue running away from facade of Sandywell Park. C18. Finely dressed limestone piers. Cast iron gates and railings with wrought iron decoration. Square piers with moulded cappings and large urn finials with reeded and fluted decoration. Double gates with wrought iron scrollwork towards bottom. Fine wrought iron overthrow with foliate scrollwork and fleur de lys, monogram with crown-like feature above, torso at top. Railing set into low wall, curves away either side of gateway then runs parallel with road, terminating in square piers with moulded cappings formerly with urn finials.
