Batsford Park Arboretum
GV II
Statue of Buddha at NGR SP 1813 3362. Brought to England from China
by Lord Redesdale. Late C19. Statue of unknown antiquity. Bronze
about 2m in height on limestone plinth. Seated figure in lotus position
with halo ana right hand raised. Ornate base standing on roughly hewn
stepped stone plinth.
