GV II

Hotel. Mid C17 altered and added to C19. Ashlar facade, coursed
squared and dressed limestone otherwise. Stone slate roof, ashlar
stacks. 'L'-shaped plan. Three right-hand bays of range facing
main street C19. Three left-hand bays formerly triple-gabled C17
stone-mullioned street front, rebuilt C19. Mid C17 range at right
angles at rear. Four 16-pane sashes with keystone surrounds to
ground floor. Four 12-pane sashes to first floor. Five-panel C19
door within 'Tudor'-arched surround with keystone off-centre left.
Double width through access to rear far right. Two hollow-
chamfered 3-light stone-mullioned casements lighting first floor of
mid C17 range at rear. Interior not inspected.
