14/222 Lock-up opposite Court Farmhouse

GV II

Former detached house, later used as lock-up, now disused. Mid-
late C18. Coursed rubble limestone; concrete tile roof. Two-
storey with attic, built into bank at rear. Front: single
central 3-light chamfered mullioned casement with hoodmould to
ground floor, doorway with deep stone lintel and plank door to
left. Two upper floor 2-light casements. North end: blocked
upper floor doorway with timber lintel. Former 2-light attic
casement, one light blocked. Interior not inspected. Forms part
of group with Long Court and Court Farmhouse (q.v.) on opposite
side of road.
